国際ビジネス、渉外法務に役立つ実務表現 securities (pl) 【意味】 証券，有価証券 【参考】 ▷ この意味では、通例、複数形で用いる。 ▷ a financial investment such as a bond or share, etc., or the related certificate showing who owns it; a negotiable or non-negotiable investment or financing instrument that can be sold and bought on the financial market, including, but not limited to, shares of stock, bonds, and debentures. 【用例】 ▷ an annual securities report →有価証券報告書 ▷ a securities firm[company] →証券会社 ▷ a securities market →証券市場 ▷ The term "foreign securities" means securities for which a person can receive payment in a foreign state or securities denominated in a foreign currency. →『外貨証券』とは、外国において支払を受けることができる証券又は外国通貨をもつて表示される証券をいう(外国為替及び外国貿易法6条1項12号)。 ▷ This Convention does not apply to sales of stocks, shares, investment securities, negotiable instruments or money. →この条約は、有価証券、商業証券又は通貨の売買については、適用しない(ウィーン売買条約2条参照)。
