wage

【意味】
賃金(特に、時間給・日給・週給), (月給や手当等を含んだ広い意味での)賃金

【参考】
「高賃金」「低賃金」は、通例、“high wage(s)” “low wage(s)”という。’expensive/cheap wage(s)’ ‘many/few wages’とはいわない。
money that is paid according to the number of hours, days, or weeks; the payment that an employee receives from an employer in exchange for their labor, which includes salaries, bonuses, and other kinds of payment.

▷ a weekly wage of $250 = a wage of $250 a week →250ドルの週給
▷ a wage increase of 3% = (BE) a wage rise of 3% →3%の賃上げ

▷ demand higher wages →賃金アップを要求する

▷ In this Act, Wage means the wage, salary, allowance, bonus and all other kinds of payment made from Employer to Worker as remuneration for labor, regardless of the name which such payment is given. →この法律で賃金とは、賃金、給料、手当、賞与その他名称の如何を問わず、労働の対償として使用者が労働者に支払うすべてのものをいう(労働基準法11)
