国際ビジネス、渉外法務に役立つ実務表現 CISG 【意味】 国際物品売買契約に関する国連条約(通称「ウィーン売買条約」) “United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods” 【参考】 ▷  CISGは、国際物品売買契約の成立及びそこから生ずる当事者(売主と買主)の権利義務を規律する世界規模の統一ルールのこと。国際ビジネスに携わるビジネスパーソンにとって、この条約の理解は欠かせません。 ▷ CISGの前文： PREAMBLE The States Parties to this Convention, Bearing in mind the broad objectives in the resolutions adopted by the sixth special session of the General Assembly of the United Nations on the establishment of a New International Economic Order, Considering that the development of international trade on the basis of equality and mutual benefit is an important element in promoting friendly relations among States, Being of the opinion that the adoption of uniform rules which govern contracts for the international sale of goods and take into account the different social, economic and legal systems would contribute to the removal of legal barriers in international trade and promote the development of international trade, Have agreed as follows: 前文 この条約の締約国は、 国際連合総会第6回特別会期において採択された新たな国際経済秩序の確立に関する決議の広範な目的に留意し、 平等及び相互の利益を基礎とした国際取引の発展が諸国間の友好関係を促進する上での重要な要素であることを考慮し、 異なる社会的、経済的及び法的な制度を考慮した国際物品売買契約を規律する統一的準則を採択することが、国際取引における法的障害の除去に貢献し、及び国際取引の発展を促進することを認めて、 次のとおり協定した。
