国際ビジネス、渉外法務に役立つ実務表現 exploit 【意味】 ～を(十分に・効果的に)利用する, ～(資源など)を開発する, ～を(不正に)利用する，～(労働者などを)搾取する(食い物にする) (n) exploitation 【参考】 ▷ to use something fully and effectively; to develop and use minerals, forests, oil, etc. for business or industry; to treat someone unfairly by making them work and not giving them much in return. 【用例】 ▷ The copyright owner may grant another person authorization to exploit the work. →著作権者は、他人に対し、その著作物の利用を許諾することができる(著作権法63条1項)。 ▷ exploit the country's natural resources →その国の天然資源を開発する ▷ The factory's workers are exploited unlawfully. →その工場の労働者たちは賃金が支払われず不法に搾取されている。 ▷ the commercial exploitation of the mineral resources →鉱物資源の商業利用 ▷ the sexual exploitation of women →女性を性的に搾取すること
