国際ビジネス、渉外法務に役立つ実務表現 warrant (n) 【意味】 令状，金銭・サービス・株式等を受ける権利を証する文書又はその権利，証券 【参考】 ▷ a writ permitting or directing someone to take a specific action, often issued by a judge; stock warrant an official document giving someone, usually an existing shareholder, the right to buy shares in a company. 【用例】 ▷ an arrest warrant →逮捕令状 ▷ a search warrant →捜索令状 ▷ with/without a warrant →令状を持って/令状なしに ▷ issue a warrant for one’s arrest →～の逮捕令状を発布する ▷ have a warrant to search the house →その家を捜索する令状を持っている ▷ a share[stock] warrant →株式買取証書(請求権) ▷ In principle, no person shall be apprehended except upon a warrant issued by a competent judicial officer which specifies the offense with which the person is charged. →何人も、原則として、権限を有する司法官憲が発し、かつ理由となっている犯罪を明示する令状によらなければ、逮捕されない(日本国憲法33条参照)。 ▷ Each act of search or seizure shall be made upon a separate warrant issued by a competent judicial officer. →捜索又は押収は、権限を有する司法官憲が発する各別の令状により、これを行ふ(日本国憲法35条2項)。
