キャリア英単語【ビジネス法務】 freedom of contract 【意味】 契約の自由 ＊“freedom to contract,” “liberty of contract”ともいう。 【参考】 民法521条(契約の締結及び内容の自由） 1 何人も、法令に特別の定めがある場合を除き、契約をするかどうかを自由に決定することができる。 2 契約の当事者は、法令の制限内において、契約の内容を自由に決定することができる。 (Freedom of Conclusion and Terms of Contract) Article 521 (1)　Unless otherwise provided for in laws and regulations, any person may freely decide whether or not to conclude a contract.
